Yes, I've waited 3 years to piss my pants.
Wednesday, 12 January 2005 01:08Which means I should be dead.
Didn't update the LJ last night--the Internet decided to go down around 12:30-1 AM, so I amused myself until 2 AM with some porn and some Paper Mario. Today, I went with Bob for the walk in Beebe Woods, and we talked, mostly about him. I brought up to him my observations of him, about how he's so goddamed depressed all the time, and I came to the general conclusion that: one, he is a "social hypochondriac," making up hypothetical situations in his head and worrying about scenarios that don't exist. To put it in English, think: a person who's always questioning, "what if...?" Now I see where Rob gets it from. And two: if he really is depressed about not spending time with his family, then he should take the initiative and get another job, a day job. I brought up the second conclusion to him, and talks with him were calm, and he thanked me for my insight and kind words. (smiles)
So, got back, and he went to work. I went to Paper Mario, then got back on the net.
God, now and then, likes to have a laugh at my expense. Keeps me on my toes. Today, for example: Sarah came online. I start talking to her, told her the net was down last night, so I wasn't online. I tell her that the net came back today, and no sooner do I hit enter to send the message, the net goes down. Some time later, it returned, but Sarah was about to leave, and I had dinner. (laughs) So, that was God's humor today.
I spent most of the day playing Paper Mario, and finally beat it. So, as I do with all games I beat, here's my review.
