Ohhhhhhhh. (devilish laugh)
Thursday, 20 January 2005 23:49In addition to the cut of your jib, I likes the sound of your town. Murfreesboro.
Ok, I'm done.
I find it amusing--I wanted to find a studio version of "Mi Morena," so I found one. Ares has a listing for "Mi Morena," studio version, sung by Josh Groban. So, I download it, hear it, and...it's not Josh Groban's voice. It's Martin Page's voice. HOT SHIT! This pleases me to no end.
Anyway, today. That premonition of mine I listed in the last post hasn't come to fruition. It won't bite me immediately. In time. Anyway, work was very slow today...main highlight? Customer wanted 3 TVs, and so I had to go in the back to see if we have it. Sure enough, we do--buried beneath other stuff on the pallet. So, we get some stock crew to help out, and the customer gave Wal-Mart a check for nearly $900. I sold a satellite radio setup, and other than that...a slow day. Coming home, I talked to April on my cell while Rob was doing 60+ on a 30 MPH road. He loves that gas pedal, I swear...
April got online, and I talked to her, and also helped to cheer Ben up. Now, Rob's in bed, my hands are freezing, the basement's getting colder, and I've got VGV to update soon. She goes back to NP tomorrow.
I'm also selling my textbooks on eBay if anyone needs:
1) Exploring Microsoft Office XP, Volume 1, Enhanced Edition, by Grauer/Barber.
2) World History, Volume 2: Since 1400, 4th edition, by Duiker/Spielvogel.
3) Annual Editions, World History, Volume 2, since 1500, 7th edition. This is a compiliation of articles from many periodicals.
4) The Atmosphere, 9th Edition, by Lutgens/Tarbuck.
Meanwhile, congrats, Dan and Jackie! (winks)
Nighty night, all.
