Great. He's dust and I'm stuck here with Miss Penis.
Sunday, 5 June 2005 23:37Thank Ryan Stiles for that line.
So, I've been here for over a week now, and oh...the smile hasn't left my face. It's been a relaxing week, to say the least. Mostly settled in now, we just need a few more pieces of furniture--an entertainment center and a dresser, most importantly. The day I moved in, I once again saw Dan, Dan, and Carolyn, and did that make me happy--Dan D, I hadn't seen since when I was in NP, Dan H., since last summer, and Carolyn since the summer between high school and college. They had brought us two gifts: a stereo (which is awesome, you guys--thanks!) and a pair of furry handcuffs (which have since been used, and I must say--FUN!). They were here the better part of 7 hours--and I was very glad that they took so well to April. Needless to say, April loves them too. We were all fed very yummy food by April, and talked about many things.
Poor Dan H...no place for him in a converasation with 4 writers to one engineering major. Still, good fun regardless.
Since then, April's been working, I've been here. I met my new boss at Wal-Mart, and he shall have me start June 11, and I'll officially be on the schedule. Until then, I've been keeping myself busy with much video games. I managed to hook April's comp up to dial-up AOL...free for me, since my AOL account comes out of my stepdad. Dial-up will be temporary for a month or so, until we can afford DSL. We opened up a joint bank account for the bills, we're pretty much settled, and in the week I've been here, I've been even more grateful that I left when I did. My stepdad called me, just to see how I'm getting along, and he briefed me on news of the house. AND OH, here's what I'm NO LONGER INVOLVED WITH (leaps for joy):
Grandma got very angry with Jim: apparently, Jim started fooling around (yes, THAT fooling around) with one of Lisa's friends. Grandma caught him, grabbed him by the ears, started pulling him around, cursing at him. Matilda (his mom) started yelling at Grandma, taking the old "don't yell at my kids" argument, Grandma shot back with something like, "raise your own goddamn kids," and left. Gone. Moved out. Getting her things shortly.
My stepdad is now about to sign the whole thing over to David and Matilda, telling them to hell with it, and moving out.
Rob has apologized to Bob for all the shit he's done.
Oh, so glad I'm gone.
