Saturday, 9 July 2005 22:42A good day today. Not a bad second day off at all.
So, as a result of the weather forecast, we played it safe and decided not to go to the Delaware River today. However, my folks came up here in the late afternoon, and stayed with us until nearly 10. Great fun, good food (thank you April, 3 out of 4 isn't bad at all!), and much hilarity. Things are still just slipping further into disrepair at the house (and I'm not there to be immersed in it, HAHAHAHAHAHA!), and the planning for a move continues. It's now possible that Bob and crew may move back to NY, and that could be a good thing--Bob would have a job back at his former machine shop, getting paid more than what he's getting now. The only dissenter is Heather, who doesn't want to leave all the friends she's made in Falmouth. Still, Bob has the final say.
It would be funny, though, if Heather went to SHS...get all the teachers I used to.
Bob, April, and I went to B&N and he got some Britcom DVDs, and got us Series 3 of Red Dwarf. OOH, goodie!
And Bob also left me with something he never does...a check for $250. Some of it to pay me for the JT tickets I couldn't use, and the rest...for me. Hot shit.
Other than that, everything's good. I begin a 5-day work week tomorrow (blech), but it's a pay week for April and myself. Bills will be paid this week. With any luck, we'll knock out all the remaining bills for the month, and have the rest as buffer, which is always nice.
The latest SSM battles (7 and 8) have been posted in the previous entry. VOTE!
