The Pig Scrotum Act of 1854.
Tuesday, 4 October 2005 00:39So sayeth the Habeus Corpus of Moopth. You can take THAT to the bank.
Good news--I won the job at Staples! So, I fill out the employment paperwork on Thursday, and then I shall officially give my notice in to Wal-Mart. Starting pay will be 9.50 an hour, 20 cents more than I'm getting now. I will also be given 40 hours a week. This, ladies and gentlemen, made my day. I look forward to it.
Also looking forward to the Cape Cod weekend in October--my family's psyched, and so am I. I can't wait to see their new house. Some news from the Cape--Rob has a new girlfriend. Let's hope she's a good-natured woman this time around, and I hope Rob doesn't burn $600 in 1 week showering her with stuff. If so, I'll have to ejaculate all over him on principle.
Off Wednesday and Thursday this week--I'll be in NP on Wednesday, unless something arises. Thursday is a loaf day for me, other than going to Staples to fill out pre-employment paperwork.
The baseball postseason begins tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. As per usual, I'm hoping Boston goes all the way again, but good luck to the 8 teams contending. If Boston wins, I'll want to be in North Adams for the riot.
All right, bedtime. Nighty night, all.
