To boldly go where no chicken has gone before.
Wednesday, 2 November 2005 23:18So, it's November.
17 days remain until I turn 20.
NaNoWriMo has begun, and I'm somewhere near the 3,000 word mark. If I get between 3300-3500 before I go to bed, I'll be happy. But, in the news:
April has gone to Tennessee for her C.S. Lewis academic conference, which means I'm all alone until Sunday night, when she returns home. I was in NP today for chorus, got there via Trailways bus. Woo! Although, before chorus, I was quite bored...I spent nearly 5 hours in the Humanities lab, everyone was away or busy, but I got some more NaNo done, and will do so after the conclusion of this LJ entry. I'll also be in NP on Sunday, this upcoming Tuesday (first concert!!!), then the "Nick" weekend.
Tom and Jill, you've been dodging my IMs all day!!! I want to hang out with you guys--definitely before Tom has to go back! Don't hog Tom all for yourself, Jill! (grin)
Staples is going well, but I have to talk to the scheduling manager tomorrow--I got scheduled for nearly all the days I requested off BEFORE I WAS HIRED. The days I had requested off I had mentioned on all 3 of my interviews, and even put it in writing, and got scheduled for them. So, I'll have to straighten that out. Because, well...I'm not showing up. So there.
Halloween, after work, I dressed up in Phantom garb and April did a photo shoot with me in all types of poses and things. Pics are being developed, and will be posted on the LJ soon!
All righty, tired Brian. Finishing up my NaNo requirements for the night, then bed.
