The LJ/Fantasy World Winter Contest 2006!

Yep. I got Joshie's backing once more for another one of these, and so--we are going again. The Winter Contest 2006 is set to begin somewhere around mid-late January, but before that happens, I need YOUR input. The 8 options above are possible ideas for the next Character Battle contest, of which you can participate in and win prizes, should you be the champion, 2nd, or 3rd place finisher. For those of you who have been involved of my contests before, you already know the setup, how it works, etc.
Those that don't...here it is in a nutshell. I take 128 characters from various games (depending on the theme of the contest) and divide them up into 4 divisions, the characters becoming paired up. About a month before the contest begins, I give out tourmanent brackets for you to fill out, and you make your predictions round by round to see who you think will win each battle. "Battles" between the characters take place via polls that I set up on my LiveJournal and Fantasy World. You vote for your favorite character, and by the end of the night, I tally the votes and the character with the most votes win, and advances to the next round. You earn points for every correct pick. We keep going until we have a winner. The person with the most points by contest's end is champion.
Veterans and interested members alike, here's where you come in. Listed above are my 8 ideas for the upcoming contest. Vote, and tell me which contest you'd like to see. The one with the most votes will be the theme for the Winter Contest, and I will get to work making the bracket.
Here is an explanation of the ideas:
Female Gamer: Suggested by my girlfriend, oddly enough, who isn't a gamer in the slightest, this contest will take 128 females from many games, classics and new ones alike. The female gender is so underappreciated in the gaming world. Here, they shall battle it out to see who is the top femme fatale.
RPGers (Square Enix only): This one should be fairly obvious--128 characters from RPGs from SQUARE ENIX GAMES ONLY, classic and new.
RPGers (Non-Square Enix): Again, obvious. The bracket will feature characters from RPGs other than Square Enix ones.
Classics: As it implies, a tournament containing 128 characters who have become the stuff of video game legend, going back to the old school arcade games to the most recent.
Platform Specific: In this contest, the bracket will be composed of characters from games found ONLY on 1 system, for example: all Nintendo characters; all PlayStation characters; all Sega characters, all Xbox, etc, etc.
Random Mix: Simple enough. 128 random characters from ANY video game, with no particular order.
Survival Horror: This contest comprises characters from the survival horror genre of games: Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Dino Crisis, etc, etc.
Other: Here is where I leave the thought up to you. If you have a cool theme you'd like to see as this winter's contest, by all means, share it! If others like it, it may very well be the next contest! Please be specific and detailed.
And now, the prizes for winning this contest:
1st place: video game of their choice OR $50 gift card to Hot Topic!
2nd place: $25 gift card to EB, GameStop, or Hot Topic.
3rd place: $20 gift card to EB, GameStop, or Hot Topic.
If that isn't incentive to join this contest, I don't know what is. And no, Sputin, sex is not a prize.
