April is out of the hospital, but the stone hasn't exited the body. However, tests and scans today showed that it's getting closer to the end. The doc prescribed some really, really powerful painkillers basically in the form of Super!Advil.
And said to drink lots of fluids--this is to make sure she pees often, forcing the stone to move.
Her follow-up appointment is in a week, so we all hope that this little nuisance passes and exits. If not, I'm going to insist they go in and get it. With or without salad spoons.
Currently we have a 3-day weekend now. This was supposed to be our trip to the Cape, but more important things first. However, I'll use this time to be with April and pamper accordingly.
And Joshie, April went all mushy upon seeing the "get well" thing on the main page. She thanks you--all of you for all the comments to the LJs and here.
As for the contest, the pause will continue through tonight. It looks likely we'll resume tomorrow night, but not certain. Will continue to update as needed.
