Now that NaNo has ended...
Thursday, 30 November 2006 22:24...I can now turn my attention to other things.
I have mentioned this in the past month or so, but some of you may have forgotten it. The upcoming Winter Contest is going to be Video Game Heroes. This contest will pair 128 of your favorite heroes and heroines from all realms of video games, going from the NES to the current generation of systems. Perhaps even some Wii and PS3 characters may make it. Now, shortly before the end of October, I asked everyone, whether you're participating or not, to give me as many suggestions for characters as you can.
In November, I've only been given suggestions by 4 people, and the total pool of which I have to make a varied bracket is slim. I want to get startups started NO LATER than December 7, so that those friends of mine in college who are interested, can sign up before their finals and whatnot begin. So for the next several days, and because I have such a small pool of characters to choose from, I will be going mining for characters myself and making the bracket. However, from now until the 7th, you can still send to me suggestions for characters. They will be much appreciated. This is a chance for you to suggest characters that YOU want to see battle it out this winter. And it makes less work for me--the less I have to do in physically hunting the Internet for possible characters, the more time I have to make a good tournament bracket.

Hopefully, that will change as people start buying gifts for the holidays. If you want to purchase someone an item with a beautiful image on it, look no further than my store.
