Calling all Mario Kart DSers!
Friday, 1 December 2006 22:44Before I get into the main purpose of this particular LJ post, a brief update:
Got 2 more lists of character suggestions, bringing the total up to about 140 that I can choose from. So I went through tonight, rooting out the ones I know I'm not gonna use. Between 30 and 40 got ruled out immediately--most of those were FF characters that really serve no function or are simply supporting characters/sidekicks. Other reasons for immediate ejection was that the characters were either a villain for most of the game or in the case of a sequel, all of 1 game and not the other, they were sidekicks, or they weren't really heroic. Just because a particular character may be a main character doesn't automatically make him or her a hero or heroine. About 20-25 were in the "maybe" column, characters that could go either way, and those characters I will have to research to see if they warrant a hero/heroine title. This leaves me with about 80 or so actual characters that will have my full consideration when making the bracket.
So, while the suggestions are good, I need more. I begin bracket making tomorrow, and in addition to your help, I too will be mining for characters. Keep those suggestions coming!

Now, this is for anyone who owns a DS, and subsequently, Mario Kart DS. I am trying to get as many of your friends' codes as I can. I'd like to play against you sometime--especially, you know, if you live halfway around the planet and I can't normally play with you otherwise.
