So, let's see, let's see...as I mentioned (or may not have mentioned), I didn't get the promotion, but at least I was told why, which made me feel better.
This weekend, April and I will be in the Berkshires, seeing Garrison Keillor and company for a live broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion at Tanglewood. Always fun. I'll return on Sunday, and then I'll be sure to get on everyone's case because as of now, there's there are 3 DAYS LEFT FOR CONTEST ENTRY!

In other news, I'm one month away from the road test, after doing 8 out of 10 lessons. I'm enjoying this driving thing so far, and once I get the license, I can shut everyone up who's been nagging me about it.
Over the last couple of weeks, I mentioned to some of you that as a result of the Manhunt 2 controversy and debate, I finally got annoyed enough to write what amounted to be an essay, an opinion piece to Nintendo Power, Game Informer, and my local newspaper (so far) stating my bit about how I think that the claims that violent games turn people into killers are bogus and unfounded, and how I think that parents should not cry foul over them and be more responsible instead of asking the government to raise their kids for them. The article got posted onto Fantasy World, and you can read it here, in its entirety. Feedback greatly appreciated.
And finally, I've decided what I'm gonna do for Fantasy World's annual Writer's Contest.

EDIT: Just checked who the guests are for tomorrow's A Prairie Home Companion...James Taylor is ONE OF THEM! And to think, I was so bummed when I couldn't get ticket's to JT's concert (sold out ASAP) in August at Tanglewood--now I'll get to see him and Garrison Keillor in the SAME SHOW! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
