So, another week ends. And thank God.

Somehow, despite my boss being out of the office for the last 2 1/2 days, the week draaaaaaaagggged, and now the weekend will zoom by, and then next week will drag once more. It's like a typewriter--the week is the platen that moves with each keystroke, the weekend is the bell dinging and the typist flinging the platen back to the left margin, and the typity typity clackity clackity of the week begins. Then again, my job is boring as a stationary pile of dog droppings, and even then, the flies make it interesting by gorging on their newfound Pu Pu Platter. It's better than watching linoleum curl, I guess. But not by much.

But, be that as it may, it's now November, which means several things: 1, it's NaNoWriMo. This year I write Book 2 of my RE4 novelization, and it's now off to a fine start. Chapter 11 is up. Read. You know you want to. Also, my birthday is November 19. Because of it, I can't buy anything for myself.

So, as of tonight, my NaNo word count: 4017/50000.

Tomorrow, April and I go to New Paltz for the second annual New Paltz Convention. While it's a weekend-long gaming convention, April and I will be down all day tomorrow. Due to a lack of planning by the person who invited us (coughcoughnudgehinthint), sleeping arrangements didn't happen. However, it's not a total loss. I want that extra hour of sleep on Sunday, and I don't want to lose the pace for NaNoWriMo by losing 2 days. Tomorrow will contain loads of fun, and I get to play photographer for the event. Hopefully, I can get good pictures of the event for Wyatt and staff.

With Boston winning the World Series last Sunday, oh, that made my weekend. My week. My baseball season. Seeing the Sox win twice in my lifetime is absolutely brilliant. Now, I just want the Cubs to win once so the sports media can shut up. Now that the Offseason is officially here, we as baseball fans can look forward to: The Joe Torre Sweepstakes; Will Roger Clemens Un-Un-Un-Un-retire? Followed up by the two prima donnas, baseball's divas: The Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez show! Will Barry play for another team? Will A-Rod get his $350 million contract?

Which now gives way to football and basketball, and I don't care for those. Well, it only means I can get back to my video games.

Speaking of which, there's some Soul Calibur 3 that calls me.
