Battle Royal: The great combat begins.

So it's come to this, everyone. The last large-scale character battle contest is set to begin, and I couldn't be more excited. We have an amazing turnout (a record of 30), and this looks to be an amazing race from its beginning to its end sometime in mid-March. I hope you guys have a lot of fun here, it's what I'm intending to do. Everyone, good luck. I'll see you all at the finish line.

The first round consists of 64 battles, comprises exactly 50% of the contest. The points are 25 for a correct prediction, 0 if you're wrong. The brackets are all off BracketMaker now, so I hope you saved or printed a copy of your bracket. Also, as mentioned in the last post, leaderboard updates will be done weekly--on Saturdays.

And so I have nothing else to say. I declare Battle Royal officially begun...have fun, everyone. Here are your first two battles.
