Battle Royal, Day 2.

Well, the outage didn't last long--the outage was fixed by 8 PM, and I was notified. Checking the results, Mario and Pikachu SOUNDLY won, so I will change the battles now. However, as the battles were down for some time, voting on these next 2 battles will be extended to make up for time. I am also going to see SPAMALOT tomorrow, so I won't even get near updating till between 10 and 11 PM. Thursday, it's back to normal time, technical failure willing.

It wouldn't be one of my character battle contests without some technical failure. Although it's the first time this has ever happened on Day 1.

It would appear that the polling sites I use (Pollhost for the LJ polls, PollCode for the FW polls) are currently down. As both places use the same server (for they're run by the same people, Boardhost), I can't even access the site to see the current results. It's been down at least before I got home from work, and as of early this morning, they were fine. I do not know how long the outage will continue, but for now, I can't update. Apologies to those who wanted to vote but couldn't. As a result, voting will be extended to at least tomorrow morning--I'll give it another 12 hours.

Should the sites come back before I go to bed, however, and I notice that the leaders have a big enough lead for me to declare a winner, I'll change them on the spot. However, it looks doubtful. Regardless, as I'm going to see SPAMALOT tomorrow night, voting was going to be extended anyway--just not for the opening 2 battles.

So, once again, apologies, and yay technical failure. I will update them at the first able moment.
