a_bit_of_wit_2: My face in grid form, colored with the bisexual pride flag colors. (Batte Royal)
I'm impressed. The lack of love for Ganondorf surprised me, actually. It won't be Zelda or Ganondorf making it to the Second Chance Final. It'll be Dante, winning by 6 votes over Ganondorf. He will face Tifa, who knocked KOS-MOS out in a near shut-out. We'll see how this affects the leaderboard, but in the meantime, go check out the current one that I posted earlier today. It may look different in 30 minutes when I punch all this all into Excel. In the meantime, enjoy the next set of Semifinals, the Third Quest Semifinals.

So, if you listened to my podcast a couple days ago, you listened to the leaderboard and all the sordid details about the craziness that was the Quarterfinals. So last night, the first set of Semifinals ended, in which it's now possible to earn 500 points a day (250 per battle). Wait till you see this leaderboard. I mentioned how it took 8 days for EyesOfATragedy to crawl from 5th to 1st, to tie Saya at the top. Well, it took 1 night for her to fall right back to 5th. Two people got the full 500 last night. With that, here's the results and leaderboard, covering everything up to the battles that ended last night. The results pick up from where last Saturday's left off.

NOTE ABOUT THE LEADERBOARD: In the "Battles Behind" column, you'll see that most numbers have been replaced by a less than followed by a number. Simply put, <1 means that you're less than 1 battle behind the person in 1st (which for the Semifinals means that you're less than 250 points behind 1st); <2 means you're less than 2 battles behind BUT more than 1 (meaning that you're more than 250 points behind 1st, but less than 500). Just a lone number means you're EXACTLY that number of battles behind 1st.

In terms of records, only one has changed: the consecutive battles lost now belongs to Biccy, who lost 15 in a row. Also, 6 characters who were predicted champions have been eliminated from the contest. And that's really it. Next podcast is Friday, the 14th. Also, an important note: when battles end on March 14 (which will be when the Division Finals end), Battle Royal will take a weekend break, as I won't be anywhere in town. Battles are scheduled to resume Sunday night, the 16th, when it resumes with the opening 2 battles of the Tournament Final.

Till then, KEEP VOTING!
