April is still in Albany, while her car undergoes surgery. Meanwhile, magazine subscriptions keep taking money out of her account, which is starting to piss her off...considering she never signed up for renewed subscriptions.
Me, on the other hand, have come to a conclusion. I like photography much better than I do copying, so I'm going back to Wal-Mart to work in the Photo Lab. Already spoke to Laurie and Alan, and they are practically beside themselves with glee. I didn't think it could get much worse than Wal-Mart. I was mistaken, alas. Before heading back, though, some red tape. I need to re-apply, which I'll do tomorrow, and re-take the drug test. Once that's done, I shall put in my 2 week notice at Staples. When I left Wal-Mart, I left because of asshole management. The job I was doing, working in the lab, I loved. I enjoyed it. Here, at Staples, I'm not happy working in front of a Xerox machine all day. I thought it'd be an interesting change, but it's not. One can only do so much with a copying machine. Whereas in photography, working in a lab, you can play around with, enhance photos...I like it much better. And as for the pay rate--it's the same as Staples. With one thing better: at Staples, you do not get an employee discount. Wal-Mart, 10%. While it's not much, it's better than nothing. So, it looks like I'll be leaving. Rather short tenure, and when all is done, I'll have been there 2 months. It may be the shortest tenure I've had at any job...well, maybe working at the McD's in North Adams was right around the 2-month mark as well.
In other news, I've begun putting up shit on eBay. We start off with just 4 things, more to be added as the week goes by:
2 DVDs: Matrix Reloaded and Monty Python's Life of Brian.
2 video games: Resident Evil Outbreak, and Lord of the Rings: Third Age.
More DVDs, video games, and electronics to go up shortly.
I also beat Metal Gear Solid 3 today, more on that later. Right now, bed.
Nighty night, all.
