Back from that darkness...for now.

So, we began our plunge into the abyss around 10 PM, and I played until 6 AM. There will be a part 2 to this, as in that time, I made it to the end of Chapter 9--the game consists of 12 chapters, and the end of Chapter 9's a bitch, when you have to fight the Guardian of Chattur'gha, Ulyaoth, or Xel'lotath (depending on what path you chose at the beginning of the game). During that battle, Erica fell asleep, and I'd have to end it there.

So, Erica, for our next session, I took the liberty of beating that boss, so you wouldn't have to watch me for 30 minutes on this thing. All that happens is that the Guardian falls back through its hole, you grab the artifact (all this coming 30 seconds after you beat the boss), end of chapter. The game stores the cut scenes-- so when we resume, we'll watch that ending of Chapter 9, and pick up immediately with Alex, who is running a bit low on the sanity front.

So I got 6 hours of sleep, and in a bit, April and I will head to Crossgates to see Coraline.
