So, Wyatt and we (April and I) were planning on going to New Paltz this weekend.
Alas, it'll have to wait.
I've got a final portfolio for Photo I due in 9 days...it requires me to print 10 pictures (minimum) and then mount them. One of them has to be matted. All this must be done manually, which means I'm going to live in the darkroom and photo lab this weekend. In addition, the photo department at Sage is in possession of ONE, count them, ONE dry mount press. And one mat cutter. Add that to the fact that we have about 30-50 students all making their final portfolios now, all at once means that time spent with the mounting tools are going to be at a premium, especially since I also have to work.
So, yes, the weekend's now shot. But, all is not lost...we're still planning to go to New Paltz for the Hudson Valley Mayfaire, which is the first weekend of May. By then, semester's over and my weekends return.
But for now, I'm annoyed.
Back to the darkroom.
