...the Internet birthed my LiveJournal. Yes, on September 11, 2003,
A Bit of Wit was created, shortly after my college career began in New Paltz. Six years ago, they were still using friend codes. Now LJ spreads its legs for anyone who wants it. Six years later, my college career still goes on, resuming earlier this year after my hasty exit from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts back in December 2004. Life goes on, and I'm glad to be back in college. While I can't afford to be a full-time student again (unless April manages to make $70k a year), going at it slowly and getting my degree in 4-6 years is better than not getting my degree at all. It's been a good year--I've had some photos published in New England Runner, I had a 1-month display of my work at a science building in Albany, I've been to New Paltz a couple of times, RenFaires, concerts, and it's been all around, not a bad year. This LJ has recorded my life these past 6 years and has seen a lot...but next year, it will see a new moment--I will become a husband in a few weeks. April and I will be tying the knot on October 3, and therefore make legal what everyone already knows. Next year, this LJ will see a couple more contests, and it will continue to chronicle my life. To those who have been on my friends' list since Day 1, thanks for sticking around. Many of you have been there during my down moments, and many during my up moments. To those relatively new, welcome. Hopefully we stick around. So thanks to all of you. I love you all. Here's to another year of wit.
