Self, could your digestive system stop being an ass? You take in some poorly cooked or mishandled beef and four days later, you're still complaining about it. It's passed on, it's made its exit after going straight through you like a violent storm, and it's gone. So you've left me with a very mild, unsettling feeling these last couple of days, acting like a child who, after being sent to his room, still softly cries and whimpers for hours after the tantrum has stopped--and makes sure that the parent can just barely hear it. That's more or less how my stomach is acting now. And has been for the past few days. I've scheduled an appointment for tomorrow afternoon, but it won't surprise me if this clears up tomorrow.

So, the Decemberween/Januarymas parties will be drawing to a close this weekend, with this final one being the biggest one. I look forward to seeing everyone one more time before heading back to school for another 4 months of hectic juggling of school and class, with little free time. There is one difference, though. This time, I'm taking classes I enjoy. I'm back to black and white film photography, which I love far more than drawing. I've no objection to doing photography for a weekend instead of drawing.

Tomorrow evening, April, her family, and I will be heading to the Times Union Center to see Jeff Dunham. Hilarity will most definitely ensue, you can be sure of it. Shortly afterwards, the first of our party guests will be arriving, followed by more on Friday and Saturday. Hopefully my stomach problems will subside at that point.

In the meantime, it's back to work.
