Adieu, adieu. Parting is such sweet sorrow.

It's been a trying week here in the lives of April and I. For those who don't read April's LiveJournal hearts_blood, her grandfather passed away a couple days ago, and naturally, it has been a sad time for both of us. She has gone down to Long Island to grieve with the rest of her family, and will be away for the better part of a week. I, bearing the burden of making the larger wage, stayed here. Financially, April's getting paid, B&N apparently is kind enough to give her 3 days bereavement pay.

However, it's been difficult this week...my shoulders have absorbed many tears, even some of my own.

Life goes on, however.

I've managed to pick up selected symptoms of a cold April had a week or so ago. April had a full-blown cold, I seem to have picked up the sore throat, persistent cough, and lethargy. NOTHING ELSE. So, I've been popping cough drops and Earl Grey...NyQuil tonight.

And other than that, that's pretty much it.
