"Ole!" seems to be the new word amongst me and the rest of the Electronics peons...ever since I randomly wrote it on a piece of photo paper and slipped it into Electronics. Since then, Ole! is the rallying call.
Or we just have no lives and want quick humor, whatever makes your panties moist. So far, nothing too interesting in life of said Brian. I've been working now for the last 3 days, 3 more to go before my next day off. I am looking forward to Wednesday, though...it's my first day back to New Paltz, for probably the last semester. April graduates this year, and after that, a plan to move to Albany has begun in the works. Kingston is not a real lively place, the main reason we ended up here was so that April could finish her final year of college. Also, as anyone in the Hudson Valley will tell you, it's expensive. Rent is atrocious. April and I have a 1-bedroom apartment that we're paying $805 a month for...and that's heading toward the low end of rent around here. With our lease due to expire in 5 or 6 months, we'll probably see a rent increase that may or may not end up breaking the bank. And when you see that the average rent for the same thing is $2-300 cheaper...you begin to look yonder.
So, we don't anticipate staying in Kingston for too much more, for financial and aesthetic reasons. But you do what you must, and staying financially afloat is a big priority.
But yes, Wednesday, I shall be in NP. To Wyatt, Ben, Brie, whomever: April has 1 class, an 8:30 class. After that, nothing until chorus at 7. Entertain us, let us hang out, associate, do something, lest we be bored for 11 hours. Possibly a Galleria run? Maybe?
Oh, and I shall try to remember to bring Chrono Trigger.
All righty, done here. And don't forget to vote in the previous post.
Nighty night, all.
