FGCB Summary Post, Division Finals.

For those playing in the contest: Day 64 of FGCB:

Lara Croft wins the Guardia Division!

And with that, the main bulk of FGCB has ended. All 4 divisions have played themselves out, and now we are down to the final 4 characters, who are right now battling it out to determine which 2 will advance to the FGCB Championship, which goes up at 10:30 PM on April 1st.

The losers of these 2 battles will duke it out for 3rd and 4th in the Losers' Match, to take place tomorrow night.

The vote turnout for this final was lower than the last few days, Lara clearly winning this one. 11 of us picked her to win. 3 of us got the full 250 points for this one: Eyes, Chaos, and E. The remaining 8 got 125. My gap with Saya remains at 200 points, Mort loses ground to fall 245 points behind Saya, C&T gained slightly, 220 points behind Mort.

As I said, it will be a wild finish. It's gonna be close. Remember, if I end up in 1st by the contest's end, I will exercise the condition I mentioned in my FAQ that I gave you all as you were doing your brackets: If I win, then 2nd place will get the grand prize. 2nd will go to 3rd, and 3rd will go to 4th. I do this for a couple of reasons: 1) winning for the second straight time just wouldn't look and feel right, and 2) it takes the fun out of it. Apparently, I just happen to know how you all will vote. Which is why I'm not entering the next contest. I'll run it as per usual, but let someone else hoard the top spots for once.

Last night I had brought up that Saya was the only person in any of my contests to win all 4 Division Final matches. Guess what? She did it again, getting 125s in all 4 battles. This time, she wasn't alone. CroutonPope also won all 4 Division Finals, the points the same, so a hand to both of them!

5 of us did not score ANYTHING for the Division Finals, which means that you 5 can no longer score for the contest. You will be noted by the word (Final) next to your names.

There were 22000 possible points for the taking during the Division Finals, of which we nabbed a total of 6625, or 30.1% of the possible points--better than the Semifinals, in which it was 28%.
