As you all now know, Wal-Mart is trying to fire me. Yet, I come home from New Paltz tonight, and on the answering machine I get a message from my department manager in Photo.

The request: she has asked me to come in tomorrow because her closer has called out sick, and will try to move my Decision Day (the paid day off I get to write down my letter to Wal-Mart explaining, apologizing, and explaining what I'll do to correct my mis-deeds) to a later date. If I don't come in, they have no closer and will be forced to close early.

As it stands, my Decision Day is tomorrow. So whether I come in or not tomorrow, I still get paid for it.

I have film to develop as well, and may not get a chance to do it if I come in on Friday (which is the current and original plan) and they fire me right on the spot.

So, give me your opinion. Should I leave them in the lurch? I get paid whether I come in or not. But if I don't, I may not get a chance to develop my film, and my possible coming in tomorrow because I'm desperately needed may be enough for the overlords to keep me for the remaining 5 shifts.

Your thoughts, please.
