Mohonk Shoot: 5/3/06.

a_bit_of_wit_2What happens when you're in the company of 2 beautiful women, you've got a camera, 10 rolls of film, and you're in a place that you're for the most part, alone?
I know what you're thinking, and no. Put the erections away. Sorry to disappoint you straight males, bisexuals and lesbians for giving you a graphic, but alas, there was no such luck for me.
What we did get was about 130 good shots of the beautiful area of Mohonk that we went to--Peter's Kill. Water is a particular favorite subject of mine to shoot...well, most of nature I love to shoot, but this was probably my most productive shoot yet. Both Mary and I shot off a lot of film, resulting in excellent pictures. The new LJ icon you see here is a result of Mary taking a picture...of me...taking a picture.
There were so many good shots coming from this day that putting my copyright on them and uploading them to my e-store will take a couple of days.
However, I did finally post the best pics I took from the previous Wednesday (not 2 days ago, but the previous week) at New Paltz and put them up for sale in my e-store.
To view them, I will give you a link there. I will stop putting my pics on LJ for 2 reasons: one, pictures at PhotoReflect are under copyright protection, which means that the site will not let you steal them--or at least make it very hard to (i.e., your right click is disabled while viewing my pictures, in addition to other protections). If I post them here, while I trust most of you, they're not safe. I'm sure people other than my friends look at my LJ and wouldn't mind nabbing the pics. Two, this is a fairly transparent attempt to get more traffic to my e-store in the hopes that you not only look at my pics, but feel it necessary to purchase them.
A note: these pics are not digital--they all were shot using 35mm film. I do update the store periodically, so keep checking for new pics!

The store was last updated tonight, when I posted the pics from New Paltz up. To check them out, you'll see a link on the right saying "New Paltz." Same holds true for all the other albums I've categorized the pics in.
April is also planning on taking some of my pics and making goodies from CafePress using them.
Go check them out! If you're not going to purchase them, at least give me some feedback. :)
Now, I'm tired. Last day at Wal-Mart coming up tomorrow, thank god.
