I've got a jar of dirt!

So, last night, did something I haven't done in a while: go see a movie on opening night. The movie? Pirates, of course. I think the last time I went to see a movie on opening night was when I was still living in Ramapo.
Didn't like the fact that I had to pay $9.75 for it, but hey, what are you gonna do? Before we went in to see it, I played a Mario Kart arcade game, to which I enjoyed and beat Ryan at. I may have to get Mario Kart: Double Dash soon.
Watching the movie, I then realized once again why I never pay any attention to movie reviews. When I go to a movie, I go to be entertained, rather than pick out and dissect plot. I don't care about technical aspects or who directed it. I go to get amusement out of it. And sure enough, I very much enjoyed this movie. Usually I'm not a big fan of sequels, because usually they fall far short of the greatness of their first movie--there are some exceptions, like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
I found this movie funnier than the last one, and amidst all the action, there are a lot of continuing plot lines carried over from the first movie, new ones open, and some go in directions you wouldn't expect, all of which are setting up for the third and final movie. Would I see it again? You bet your ass. I won't divulge any of the plot for those who wish to see it, so as to not spoil the movie for you.
Before the movie, went to Hot Topic and saw 2 new video game shirts that I want, I'll get one of them today. The first is a black shirt that contains a blue box with 5 simple words: ATTACK, MAGIC, SUMMON, ITEM, RUN. Yay ancient FF games! The second is a "you know you're in the Mushroom Kingdom when..." It'll be a toss up.
Today I hope to get my 4 rolls of camping trip pics developed, see which were the best of the bunch. Some will probably go up on Mad Squirrel, some on Photobucket.
GO SEE PIRATES!

Ok, off I go.
