a_bit_of_wit_2So, the signup period has officially ended for Colosso.
While I was hoping for a big turnout, summer usually nets the lesser turnout as opposed to the winter contest. People have lives and jobs, and all that sort.
The contest pool consists of 14 people (myself not included), the 2nd smallest turnout of these contests. Not too bad compared with the past:
FF Character Battle--10
Video Game Villains--16
Super Smash Melee--17
Female Gamer--22
Here is our entry lineup:

I still need Loser's Match predictions from the following:

Contest is set to begin tomorrow evening, July 12, between 7 and 8 PM.
Battles will be done 2 at a time, as we go through Round 1 of all divisions. Tomorrow we begin with the first 2 battles of the Onett Division:
(1) Crono (Chrono Trigger) vs. (32) Tombi (Tombi)
(17) Koops (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door) vs. (16) Ivan (Golden Sun)
Also, for the newcomers: the polls for these battles will be on my LiveJournal (http://www.livejournal.com/users/l_loire) and on Fantasy World (tiduskingdom.suddenlaunch.com). The battles go on simultaneously for 24 hours at these 2 locations. Which means you can vote twice in the same battle--1 on my LJ, 1 on FW. At the end of the battle, I add the votes from both spots, and the winner is the one who has the most TOTAL votes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST be a registered member of Fantasy World to vote in the FW part of the polling. You DO NOT have to be a member of LiveJournal to vote on the LJ poll.
For Round 1, if your predicted winner is correct, you will earn 25 points for the battle. This is how voting works. If you have any questions, refer to the FAQ or ask me.
