a_bit_of_wit_2All righty, everyone. This will be the last LJ post I write for probably a week, while I get settled and set up in my new apartment.
So, here's some final news until I see Internet and instant messaging in about a week, if all goes well:
1) Colonoscopy/biopsy is scheduled for Monday, August 14, 7:30 AM. My ass is cringing at the prep that this will involve. True to Jill's word, they are going to give me so much laxative the night before--they are going to make me shit my brains out. I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up to be a literal statement. They're also going to cram many dopey drugs in me on the day of said probing. They have recommended that I take that day off work, because I'll be so drugged. Hell, I don't want to remember this.
2) RenFaire update: Mary and her boy has unfortunately, dropped out of this trip. Her boy was dragged to Florida against his will, and her parents won't drive her to Suffern, even though it's only 35 miles from Mahopac to Suffern. We'd get her ourselves, but it's way the hell out of our way. Which means, Dan H, only 3 of us are staying with you: April, her brother, and myself.
3) The current contest is taking a 1 week break while I set up. Resumes on August 8, if all goes well.
4) If you need to get ahold of me during this time, whether it's about RenFaire, or just to say hey, I'll have my cell with me: 845-853-5247.
