Day 56 of Colosso:
As I expected, the battles of the Division Finals came down to the wire. One of them even ended in a tie, which resulted in a tiebreaker vote. Now, the results:
Magus wins the Onett Division! It was Magus who got the tiebreaking vote, and so congrats! Of the points, Magus (FW member) was the only one who got points, and the full 500 as well. Magus (character) won over Crono, 13-12.
In something of a bit unexpected, Kid wins the Miltia Division! I fully expected Sora to win this one, but I see that Chrono Cross has staying power, and people voted accordingly. Sora got knocked out by a sizable margin. NO ONE got any points for this battle. Kid wins, 14-9.
Ayla wins the Aglis Division! I was surprised that Ayla even made it this far, to be perfectly honest. And Cecilia. I had hoped Rose and Dart to battle, but they got knocked out, both in matches where they lost by a vote. 4 people got points for this one--1 got 500, 3 got 250. Ayla wins, 14-8.
The last one ended in a nail biter. While there was no tie here, it was close all the way through. However, Jessica wins the Alexandria Division! Apparently her stage presence helped her to victory, and she is the only #1 seeded character to make it into the Tournament Final. 3 people took points here--1 for 500, 2 for 250.
Overall, Magus was the biggest winner of the Division Finals, winning 2 of them to take a total of 750 points, and has regained the lead. C&T also won 2 of the battles for a total of 500 points. Joshie now sits 225 points out of 1st.
Now as we sit here, with 4 battles left to play, it is still anyone's game in the top 5. With the points for the remaining battles so large, and with the top 5 pretty close to each other, a couple of good picks (and a little luck) could net you the championship.
