26 weeks is a year, right?

I credit this LJ post title to a silly customer my boss dealt with today over the phone.
So, at the end of the first week of signups, only 2 people have entered the contest. 8 more (minimum) is needed for me to do it. All the links can be found in the previous post or two.
Last Thursday evening saw me complete FF3, which now leaves me with FF12 as the only numbered console game left to complete. Review to come shortly.
In other news, the weekend was all too short. Spent the beginning of Saturday with my third driving lesson, then it was to Albany, where we got our hair cut, went to Crossgates and spent some money, then stayed at April's parents till evening. Sunday, redeemed my Wii Points, and downloaded a couple of classics, including Gunstar Heroes, a game I played back in the days of the Sega Channel, but never finished. So, Gunstar Heroes became my 5th completed game of the year.
April has decided that she's going to ram some bad reading down my throat in the form of the novel The Phantom of Manhattan, just so I can understand why the Phantom fandom loathes it so much. After that, maybe some more Lovecraft.
And other than that, not much happening. I am looking forward to the camping trip in a few weeks, though. :)
Now, back to Zelda: A Link to the Past.
