a_bit_of_wit_2Came back an hour or two ago from the romp in the Berkshires, and it was a blast. Last night was spent at Tanglewood for a live broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion, with special guest James Taylor, which made my week. Possibly my month. He sang some classics like Sweet Baby James, You've Got A Friend, Fire and Rain, and some others. How much of the sellout crowd was there just for James, for the APHC crew, or both, I wouldn't know. However, he got a full standing ovation after Sweet Baby James, live and on air. An awesome, awesome show. Even after the show went off the air at 8 PM, we were treated to a 1-hour encore with James and the APHC crew. After, we went to Bennigan's, then back to our motel for some sex and bed.
Today, after having some diner food, walked around North Adams a bit, went to Papyri Books, Persnickety Toys, and a quick pop into Big Y for a drink. April got some books, we got a couple of toys, and then it's back home, whereupon there was more sex, and here I am.
So, they finally announced the winners for the RenFaire Photo Contest, and I don't usually feel like this when I don't make a finalist in a photo contest, but I actually feel slighted by what they chose as the winners--I honestly feel that some of my pics entered were better than some of those. Maybe not the grand prize, because that looked very good, but...I don't know how and what they judged on, but, ah well. Just a bit perplexed. Some of the winners looked damn good, I admit, but some others...meh. Take a look at the winners, and take a look at my five, see what you think.

Meanwhile, as I check the Bracket Maker site, I still see 13 entries for the contest. Not bad, but I know some of you are DELIBERATELY waiting to the last minute. There's less than 2 days left! Links are in the previous post.
