a_bit_of_wit_2Not too much going on in life since coming back from the Delaware River...overtime has resumed at work, a full 2 weeks after the unit supervisor said that we wouldn't have overtime for a while. I guess 2 weeks is a while. Still, when there's an increasing workload and a decreasing staff, overtime happens. So it's been mostly 10 hour days and working 8 hours on Saturday. However, the money is needed--after spending more than what I originally wanted to on the Delaware River, I want to get back to a stable financial ground. As you have seen, Generation Seven is running smoothly, so no news there. Also, I still want to know who's available when for this year's NY RenFaire. Only Carolyn has replied.
Another thing of note: as you are aware, tonight is the release of Harry Potter: The End (a.k.a. Deadly Hallows). Because I have read the previous six and will be reading the seventh in the very near future, I will only jump on the Internet to update contest battles and to update the leaderboard. I may be around on Trillian, but I'm not writing another real post again until after I read the book. It's past midnight (or will be near) in the UK, and so the spoilers will be EVERYWHERE. So, to avoid spoilers, I will make just a brief exit. With any luck, I'll have the book finished in a week or two.
In the meantime, time to make dinner. For some entertainment, have some musicians playing Zelda music:
