The NP Ice Sheet.

Like many NP students yesterday who saw the entire place covered in snow, I anticipated a cancellation of classes, or a delay at the bare minimum. Nothing was plowed, and it looked highly likely...until I called the info line and it said that we were running on a normal schedule. How's that for a wake up call? 7 inches of snow on the ground, icy, treacherous, a total mess, and classes were in session. We've cancelled for better weather. Slightly miffed, headed to breakfast, then to Comp 2. I had about an hour break between the class and Modern Europe, and then class. After that, Nick and I headed to lunch, then onto a SSBM fest, where I was having some excellent streak of luck, winning a good percentage of matches. This usually doesn't happen, but I reveled in it. Michelle summoned us to dinner, and thus it was so. Ben joined us, and I met Wyatt's friend. After that, onto Esopus for a Friday DDR session. It would be Tom, Jill, Nick, Wyatt and his friend, Ben, and I for the most part, with Dave, Catie, Adam and his friend Boris, and Lex drifting in. As the night wore on, people left in dribs and drabs, finally ending up with Tom, Jill, and I to end it close to midnight. 3+ hours of DDR, and the legs remain intact. Lex performed "My Roommate's a Pedophile" on his accordion, and all was good. Got back to my dorm around 12:30 or so, where I spent the next 2 hours talking to Rach online, the ESP thing happening again, and so that was that. Now...3 days all to myself. I may discover some more things about myself during this time, maybe do some writing, I don't know. Until then, enjoy the day.
