a_bit_of_wit_2For the second straight day, I've been woken up by the lovely Rach. Both times the phone ring made its way into whatever dream I was having. Such a pleasant thing to be woken up by such a wonderful person. Of course, if it were almost anyone else, I'd bite their heads off. Anyway, yesterday she described a wonderful scene of her surroundings on the way to work...I could see it all clearly in my mind. Then she called me again during her break...I feel so loved. Those would be the highlights of yesterday, since it was uneventful. That and in the evening where I was up till almost 3 chatting with Bri, then Sarah and Travis, which ended V-day quite nicely.
Today...all day was spent to Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Nick was with me for the whole day, and we went through the entire game, getting all 14 emeralds. Let me tell you, Hyper Sonic left Nick in such awe. I mean, brazenly going through boards like it was nothing, beating long boards in half the time, and actually getting to the point where we racked up over 100 lives for Sonic, and 26 continues...which I never had to use. Boards were being beaten with Sonic have 200+ rings, one time over 400! It's friggin' obscene! Nick had brought out the point that this game, saved as it is now, 100+ lives and 26 continues (each continue having 3 lives for a total of 78 lives), his sister could beat it. Yes, Sonic added insult to injury. I became obsessed, loving every minute of God mode...and we accomplished this without the use of cheat codes. It can be done. And remember..."a little rock...stone!"
The night has come to Bri, Sarah, and Travis, and Bri went to the land of slumber. Sarah, her mom, and Travis are chatting with me right now, me and Sarah doing the classic DM dance...but soon the fun has to end...the caffeine has left, and I hope to get mounds of sleep, hopefully with no interruption in the morning.
