a_bit_of_wit_2I hope each and every one of you have a very happy and merry Christmas. Even if you don't observe the holiday, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, regardless. The spirit of Christmas is one to be observed year-round, not just confined to one day out of 365. It's my intention to live up to this on a daily basis.
It certainly feels like Christmas...the apartment has been alive with baking for the past couple of days, the gifts are under the tree, and April and I have had the pleasure of already seeing many of our friends who made the journey up to our home to spend some time, and enjoy the company. Many more we'll be seeing in January, and we look forward to it.
It's a special Christmas for me, as this is the first one I'll have spent not as a boyfriend or a fiancee, but as a husband. It's my first one being a married man, and if I'm lucky, I'll have many more Christmases with my wonderful wife, April.
