What's a poor college student to do?

a_bit_of_wit_2Well, shortly after I woke up, I called Wal-Mart, and found that the hiring manager returned. So I inquired about my application, and she said that this would be a catch-up week, and that they'll be looking at apps through next week.
Nuh-uh. Sorry. It's not gonna fly. I put in my app over 2 weeks ago. So, that's on my list of things to do today:
1) Go to the bank and deposit a check.
2) Put in McApp.
3) Go to Wal-Mart and talk to the personnel manager.
This is getting a bit ridiculous. I shouldn't have to wait over 2 weeks for them to look at my app. It's like managers strategically take a vacation when the college students return. Sorry. Ain't gonna go with me. Not when I am in dire need of funds.
