Use #24 for spermicide: roommate repellant.
Wednesday, 27 October 2004 14:34You know, I love sleep. I have no problem with people sleeping, and I'll let them sleep. However, there's a fine line that must be drawn with that. It's 2:30 in the afternoon, and my roomie's asleep. Now, I myself have been guilty of that, but I don't like it--it screws up my entire day.
Now it's 2:30, and everyone's awake. Therefore, I have my music playing at a reasonable volume, since I hate blaring music to begin with. He has the nerve to tell me to turn it down so he can sleep...so I did, from 100 (which is still quite soft on my shit computer) to 97. I'm sorry, Kaz, but, you know...everyone's AWAKE. Don't put your screwy schedule on me. It's your own damn fault you have an 8 AM class and refuse to go to bed at a reasonable hour. Don't put your schedule on me and force me to be quiet during the day so you can sleep. Unlike all of us, we like to wake up and see daylight. Unlike all of us, we like to spend time with our significant others. The world doesn't revolve around you.
Keep in mind, he needs my permission, my signature to have his wife to come here. She'll be up this weekend. Now, it just seems like common courtesy for the roomie to leave for a little bit to give the other some time for fun. It's not a rule, but a courtesy. However, my roomie refused to allow us some fun. So, as a result of that, I'll allow permission for his wife to stay the weekend, but will I leave the room so they can have some fun? Absolutely not. Even better? April will be up here this weekend.
So am I feeling devious? Oh, yes. (evil laugh)
