I think I am obsessed with Phantom...I've created 20 LJ icons, about 10 or so being created tonight. I have to give credit to www.gerardbutler.net for containing many screencaps of the movie, of which I cropped and made the various icons, including the one for this entry.
I don't get it, really: today, it was pouring out. Gale-force winds have been blowing all day, taking out many tree branches, blowing trash bins everywhere, slamming doors and causing a mess.
It was like 4th of July weekend in Wal-Mart. Or at least it seemed like it. Really, it was all the procrastinators buying the last-second Mom's Day gifts. Which, by the way, included many DVDs of Phantom...and a few Napoleon Dynamite...(shudders)
I caught you a delicious bass...
Moving on, the day moved quickly--heavily understaffed (as usual), myself having run of 3 departments at times (since after 6, no one in electronics or pets). There were times when I needed to get fish for someone, 6 people want video games, and a customer wanted to know some info about prepaid phones. (sigh) More staff never hurt anyone.
So, got home, meeped with April for a while, and I'm hoping to be out of here by Memorial Day weekend--that's the projected moving time.
The Summer Contest for Into the Lifestream and Fantasy World shall be a fighters' battle, titled Super Smash Melee. Full info will be posted on the forums very soon.
I would post the 20 Phantom LJ icons I made, but I'm too sleepy and lazy to do it now. Tomorrow, work 1-8, then 12-9 on Monday...then the joyous 5 AM bus ride on Tuesday to sign the lease.
