Why does my drink change color?
Monday, 14 April 2008 08:14So, April's birthday weekend was loads and loads of fun. It was nice having Ben, Wyatt, Jess, Mary, James, Ryan, Erica, Peter, and Luc (all at varying points of the weekend), and Kris (even though she was only a disembodied voice coming out of my computer). Much gaming was had, as was food, drink, and Apples to Apples. And last night I actually even began a campaign into my next level of nerdular nerdence known as D&D. Oh, boy. And so far, I like it. So I thought it'd be fitting that my first character would be a bard. This is going to be good, methinks. But as I don't have time to get into a weekend recap, let's just leave it as I had fun.
I will be taking some days off in a couple of weeks--these were days originally planned for my younger sister, who was going to visit me for spring break. As her plans have now fallen through (as in, she took too long deciding whether she wanted to come, and didn't get the days off), I have 5 days off. So now I am planning a solo trip to Ramapo from April 23-27. See some friends I haven't seen in a while. And possibly end up going to Cape May, NJ, for the weekend (as it would seem that Carolyn and the Dans are planning this), I don't know. But I am going to be in Ramapo, and so the hunt is on to find lodging, whether it be a hotel room or someone's house. I'm leaning toward a hotel room in terms of comfort and privacy, but I am on a bit of a budget. So we'll see. Regardless, I've been wanting to head down there and hang out with friends since I got my license, and it would seem that now I have the first chance to. Just something for y'all to keep in mind.
In the meantime, to everyone who was here over the weekend, hope you had fun, and hope to see you here again in the near future. For now, breakfast, and then the silly work thing.
