I can tell immediately that it is going to suck balls when winter approacheth. I'm starting to feel it already--waking up for work when it's still dark out, and I find myself becoming tired. Winter's gonna suck--I wake up in darkness and will leave work in darkness, and the only light I'll get is the cheap, fake, industrial florescent office lighting. So if I emerge next spring looking as white as a fruit that Bunnicula drained all of its juice out of, you'll know why. And bonus points to any of you who read Bunnicula as a child.

Closing weekend at the NYRF was awesome, and the fact that April and I made it down there 8 out of 17 days was very impressive--the season pass was a great buy, and will do it again. WILL BUY FROM AGAIN, GREAT SELLER A++++++++

Got to run into Reid and his contingent, but no Wyatt and his harem. If he was there, he kept his entire adoring female fan base well hidden in hammerspace. But that's ok, I had the pleasure of a Kate leaping, hurling herself bodily at me, squeeing with frenzied, mad delight. However, Faire season for April and I is not yet over. There are still 2 Faires left to go before we call it a year...in a little more than a week, April and I will be visiting a new Faire--this one in Connecticut. Several of the people we saw at NYRF will be there, including Jeff the Wandering Minstrel. And then for Columbus Day weekend, April, Ryan, and I will be heading to Cape Cod for King Richard's Faire. Then, finally, I can ease into fall and get the blasted planned Character Battle IX underway. But lately, since coming back from RenFaire, I have been heavily, heavily into my photography. For those of you who haven't gone to see yet, I've uploaded at least 50 new pictures to my DeviantArt. Check them out, and leave love. And if you wish to buy, please let me know, and we can arrange for that. My current photo project is done--the wedding pictures from Michelle and Shawn's wedding have been scanned, touched up where needed, and ready for purchase. So, Michelle and Shawn, when you're ready, let's talk.

I've also created business cards for myself: Mad Squirrel Photography. Even though it's predominately nature photos, I'll do weddings for friends. I don't wish to make a career of wedding photos, but it can make for a nice side job. I may have another wedding and a portrait session in the near future. (teehee!) As a result of my photography, I am now planning to save money for several new shiny toys--like a laptop, a digital SLR, a new hard drive, and an iMac. However, the iMac is a long way off, so I am planning to beef up my current desktop with more RAM and another hard drive (500 GB or 1 terabyte would be nice).

This weekend, well, I'm home for once. Tomorrow I work 4 hours of overtime--that I got roped into. We've got some professional carpet cleaners coming into the office to clean the carpet, and someone has to be present. The reason? My office contains many documents containing very sensitive and confidential information. Last thing we need is someone to take said information and have fun yoinking identities. So I got roped into it because everyone claimed to have plans tomorrow, and me being the lowest on the pole (the most recent hire), it fell on me. So I'll probably just bring my DS and have fun while they do their thing. After work, however, it looks like I am in for another D&D session. YAY! It's been months.

And so, yes, that's been the current state in the Life of Brian. Oh, and I got an electronic dartboard. April is actually damn good at it. In 8 games, we're 4-4. Also got Boggle, which I haven't played since I was a wee child.

But now, some loafing. Talk to y'all later.
